RRB NTPC 2026 Notification: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has issued a short notice regarding the recruitment of 1,688 vacancies through the NTPC Undergraduate Recruitment 2026 drive in the railway department for the post of 12th pass candidates. The online registration of RRB NTPC 2026 Recruitment will begin on October 15, 2026.
Which posts are being filled?
There are total 4 posts under RRB NTPC UG Recruitment 2026. The various posts include 188 posts for Train Clerk, 700 posts for Commercial-cum-Ticket Clerk, 200 posts for Accounts Clerk-cum-Typist and 600 posts for Junior Clerk-cum-Typist. There will be 1,688 vacancies across all the railway zones.
Available to students who have cleared 12 th Standard
Candidates shall have passed 12th standard from a recognized Board to make an application for these posts. To the Posts of Accounts Clerk-cum-Typist & Junior Clerk-cum-Typist, it is essential to possess the prescribed qualification for computer typing in Hindi or English.
The age of the candidate should be 18 to 30 years as on 01 Jan 2027. The candidates of the reserved categories will be relaxed in the upper age limit as per government rules.
What is the salary?
The initial basic salary of Commercial-cum-Ticket Clerk is Rs. 21,700. The initial basic salary of Train Clerk, Accounts Clerk-cum-Typist, and Junior Clerk-cum-Typist is Rs.
19,900.
In addition to this, allowances as admissible shall be paid in accordance with rules of the railway.
When will the full notification be released?
As per RRB, the section-wise notification for UG recruitment will be issued on 14th October 2026. It will give complete details of the zone-wise division of posts, application procedure, fees, selection process, and other requirements.
